It is possible for Botox to spread to other parts of the face if you rub, massage, or apply pressure too soon after injection. This may lead to an unfavorable cosmetic outcome. For at least 1 - 2 nights after Botox injections, patients should sleep on their backs with their heads slightly elevated.

Sleeping on your back is essential for Botox injections to settle into your muscles. When you lay on your face, the injections may not settle properly and you may not achieve the results you want.

Botox aftercare instructions will be discussed with you during your initial consultation. At Chester Skin and Wellness, we have specialists that can provide you with more information about Botox treatments.
